San Antonio at New Orleans

The Twin Towers experiment in New Orleans of Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins appears to still be a work in progress. The Pelicans seem to take a step forward, then fall back, and the 9-8 record shows just that. The San Antonio Spurs have had to go all season without their superstar Kawhi Leonard. It was certainly an adjustment period to start the season, but Gregg Popovich is a great coach and there is still plenty of talent on this team. The Spurs seem to have defined roles, and are stepping up. After a mediocre 4-4 start the Spurs are now 7-2 in their last nine. One team here has things figured out and the winning pedigree while the other is still a work in progress trying to fit all the pieces together. Play on San Antonio on the moneyline.
