San Antonio at New Orleans

Neither team deserves to be in any kind of postseason tournament, but they qualified due to a lack of good teams in the Western Conference. However, New Orleans has won five of its last eight games and has plenty of motivation after few people expected much from the Pelicans this year especially playing without injured Zion Williamson. A huge plus is having CJ McCollum, who the Pelicans acquired in a trade during the season as he had never missed a postseason in his career with Portland. The Pelicans are 11-4-1 ATS their past 16 games as favorites and they have covered the spread seven of 10 overall versus teams with losing records. San Antonio lost its last three games, including 130-120 at Dallas on Sunday and the game went OVER by 24.5 points as the Mavericks shot 54.1 percent. The Spurs allow 46.6 percent shooting overall and 36.0 percent from 3-point range. New Orleans has gone OVER five of its last seven after losing by at least 10 points. Take the Pelicans and the OVER.
