San Antonio at Los Angeles

The San Antonio Spurs have gone most of the season without Kawhi Leonard, and have suffered a lot of other injuries along the way. Despite all that, the Spurs are fourth in the NBA West, but there is so much at stake here as the ninth place Nuggets are just two games back. The Spurs are playing well at 8-3 in their last 11, with all three losses coming at the hands of projected playoff teams. The Lakers are 33-44 on the season, and most of that winning occurred during an elongated hot stretch that saw the Lake Show go 21-9. Otherwise this team is a woeful 12-35. They have recently resembled that 1-35 version of themselves, having logged a 2-8 mark in their last 10 games, beating just the lowly Grizzlies and Mavericks.
