San Antonio at Houston

It looks like the Rockets have a mindset to exercise some demons this season. They began by whopping up on NBA runner-up Dallas 107-76, and took out NBA Champion Miami on its homecourt 94-72. There has been two things that have been noticably different so far in 06. Yao Ming seems to be having a breakout season. He posted a 35 on Shaq, and has averaged 27 pts and 10 boards so far, and has been a true force. The second is Tracy McGrady. He has often been considered a "me first" player, and never met a shot he didn't like. His shots and scoring is down, and he leads the Rockets in assists with what would turn out to be a career high 6.5 a game. San Antonio has gotten off to their usual quick start, but two wins vs the Knicks, and another vs Toronto don't tell as much a story as going into Cleveland and dropping a decision to the Cavs by 7. This is a big statement game for the Rockets. After taking out Dallas, and Miami, this game is saying the Championship is going to come through Houston this year. We expect a big effort from the Rockets tonight.
