San Antonio at Golden State

The San Antonio Spors are not exactly used to getting beat up in the playoffs, but they were trashed in their series opener vs. Golden State. Many want to believe in the miracles of the Spurs head coach, Greg Popovich, but with an aging Parker and Ginobli, and the absence of Kawhi Leonard, he simply does not have the roster to compete with the Warriors. The Spurs have done most of their work at home, but the road has been a nightmare where they are now 14-28 SU and 15-26-1 ATS. The Spurs have three road wins on the entire season vs. playoff teams, and just one has come since December 20. They are 1-13 SU in their last 14 on the road and 4-9 ATS. The playoff history has been strong, but not in this spot. The Spurs own a 4-17 SU mark and is 4-16-1 ATS off a road playoff loss. Defense has not been their forte in this spot either as the last five times they have been in this situation, they have allowed just shy of 115 points per game, and overall the result has been 57% to the OVER. The Warriors' last seven home playoff games have seen them average 121.8 points per game. Make the play on Golden State and the OVER.
