The San Antonio Spurs have changed their style a bit, and it has paid off to the tune of the best record in the NBA at 42-8. The Spurs still play the great defense, but now they get out and run the floor, making them a tough team to face. Detroit has fallen off sharply the past few years. San Antonio still isn't getting the respect that LA and Boston gets, as the Lakers were a 7.5 point choice here, and the Celtics 6.5. The Spurs have proven better than both, but it’s not reflected in the line here. San Antonio is 19-7 ATS following a 10+ point win in their last 26 games. Over the years, they have proven lethal on the road as a favorite at 225-194 ATS, including 14-7 ATS in their last 21. San Antonio takes this one.
