Dallas got off to a 0-4 start last year. One of those losses was a home loss to the Spurs. They have simply become a different and better team since. They finished the regular season on a 67-11 run. They went on to face San Antonio three more times winning all three including two games in San Antonio. San Antonio has long been the dominate team in the West, but we are seeing the changing of the guard, at least in terms of the regular season. Dallas has shown the ability to get the money against the good teams. They are 38-20 ATS over the last three years when facing a team that outscores its opponents by 3+ a game. Coach Johnson is also 29-11 ATS against good defensive teams, allowing 91 points or less a game. These teams played three straight UNDERS after their opener last season. San Antonio is 47-28 to the first-half UNDER when playing the top teams (.700 win percentage or higher) in the Duncan era. We like Dallas for the cover and also like the first half to go UNDER.
