The Spurs have recovered from a slow start due mostly to injuries and have played well, but were run out of the building last night against Philadelphia. This is a bad spot for them. This team certainly isn't youthful anymore and where it has showed up the most is when they have to play on back-to-back nights. The Spurs are just 1-7 ATS under these circumstances. The Bulls are playing as well as they have all season, equaling a season high two-game winning streak and have also won four of six, matching a season best as well. The Bulls seem to play better against the good teams as they are now 15-7 ATS as a dog of 4.5 or less in their last 22. The Spurs streak of playing poorly in back-to-backs has a history of 22-47 ATS in their last 69, so nothing new here. The Bulls get the call as a live home dog.
