Sacramento at Dallas

The Dallas Mavericks have shown their hand early. They want to hasten the pace and force teams to outscore them, and they have met with success in the early going, employing that method. The problem is their opponents are catching on and after four games of averaging nearly 112 points per game, the Mavs have managed just 96ppg in their last three. Sacramento is under the radar, and there are two reasons - Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins. Cousins is a budding super star that is averaging 23 points and 11 boards while Gay, always a good scorer, and now in a scoring role is contributing 22 points and seven boards. This is a vastly improved team that in the past could hardly ever find their way on the road, but are 3-1 to start the season, and certainly a strong candidate to come in under the number here at the very least.
