Oklahoma City is on the verge of securing a playoff spot. And, they should grab the franchise's first division title in six years. They are playing great basketball right now having won eight of nine and 11 of their last 13 games. The one-two punch of Westbrook and Durant is simply too much to handle for all but the best NBA teams. Portland is a very tough out at home (26-10) but on the road, they struggle (16-20). Portland's problem is that they aren't very aggressive, only getting to the line 22 times per game. That's a great matchup for OK City who is 17-5 straight-up vs. teams that get under 25 free-throws per game. The Thunder are also 47-18 straight-up since last season vs. weak defenses like Portland (those allowing 46%+ from the field), as Durant eats them up. That includes a 10-1 mark in their last 11 vs. such teams. Under Scott Brooks, the Thunder are 56-14 as a favorite in the -165 to -500 range. While the spread is in question, I'm on Oklahoma City to win this game.
