This is a good spot for a relatively undervalued Portland team. Undervalued? Yes. The Trailblazers started the season on fire and got to overrated status. That's one reason they have failed to cover the spread in six straight games. The value was gone. But at this point, the pendulum is starting to swing the other direction, especially coming off a loss in their last game to the Heat. Portland is only laying a very small number here vs. a losing team - a team that allows 102.3 points per game. I expect a very focused effort from the Blazers after losing last game. And Portland is 12-4 ATS this season vs. losing teams. Lay the small number on the much better team. Also take the UNDER. New Orleans is 36-21 UNDER the past two seasons when facing winning teams. Under head coach Monty Williams, the Pelicans are 22-8 UNDER vs. Northwest division opponents, and 83-58 UNDER vs. winning teams. Go with Portland and the UNDER here.
