Portland at Memphis

Portland continues to lead the NBA Northwest Division, and if the season ended today they would be a #4 seed and host an opening round playoff series. The Blazers return home after losing the last of their four game road trip to Orlando, but following a trip of four or more games, the Blazers have played inspired basketball at home winning both times this season by 12 or more points. They have snuffed out the opponents' offense, allowing 95 points or less in both games. The fact is that they have been very defensive coming home off a road game, with their first game back home going 5-1 to the UNDER following their last six road trips. Memphis was riding on the heels of Golden State for much of the season, but have not played well over their last 14 games where they have been a .500 team at 7-7. While the Grizzlies' defense remains their calling card, the offense has really struggled, scoring just 93.9 points per game in the 14 games. The Blazers are now 4-0 ATS in their last four vs. teams better than .600, while Memphis is just 4-10 ATS in their last 14. Memphis has dug in defensively, playing to a perfect 11-0 mark to the UNDER in their last 11 off a spread win, and four of Portland's last five vs. a team over .600 have failed to get to the total.
