Portland finished last season with the distinction of playing more UNDER games than any other NBA team. Overall they were 49-32 to the UNDER, and 25-15 to the UNDER on the road. This was even more evident early in the season as through their first 17 games, they averaged just 90 points per game and allowed 96.8 ppg. The Lakers try to push the ball, but good offensive teams often need time to get it rolling. The Lakers finished the season failing to score 100 or more just six times in their last 39 games, but failed to reach 100+ in six of their first 17. With the Blazers knowing they have no chance to get in a shootout with the Lakers, I expect them to continue to try and shorten the game and will play this one UNDER.
