Los Angeles just can't get on track and now has lost six of its last seven after losing 104-99 at Memphis on Wednesday when the Lakers blew a 14-point second-half lead. The Lakers severely miss Anthony Davis, who is injured again, and LeBron James no longer can carry the team by himself as his 37 points went for naught against the Grizzlies. Portland also is having trouble having lost three straight, but laying points with the Lakers right now is a dicey proposition. The Trail Blazers won the first meeting this season, 105-90 on Nov. 6, and they have won three of the last four meetings overall. They are also 14-4 ATS the last 18 meetings at Los Angeles. The Lakers are 6-17 ATS as home favorites, 2-7 ATS their last nine home games, and 4-9-1 ATS versus teams with .400 or worse winning percentages. Take the Trail Blazers.
