Portland at Houston

Portland sure isn't the kind of team that goes on the road and surprises too many teams. What they do is shorten games, keep the scoring down and hang tough. Houston appears to be at least 10-points better at home than Portland but they have shown the knack for going through the motions against poor competition. They have been a home favorite from 7-10 points nine times this season and have come away with just two covers! Going back to last season it extends to just 2-9 ATS as a 7-10 point home favorite. That is just 18% of the time. Portland has done a decent job as a double digit dog, covering four of seven. Portland will keep this close and better yet, Houston will keep this close.
