Many may be surprised at how low this line is, but a lot of the early games in the NBA are predicated from public perception a year ago. The reality is that the gap between these teams has been bridged. Aldridge and Lillard combined for 60 points in Portland's opener, and provide one of the best 1-2 punches in the NBA. The Nuggets closed poorly last season, and have covered just one of their last seven. The Blazers are now 9-4-2 ATS in their last 15 vs. the Northwest where they have fared well. That includes a near perfect resume vs. the Nuggets, as they are 3-0-1 ATS in the last four in this series. Make your play on Portland in this one.
