Portland at Denver

The Western Conference playoff waters are dark and murky. One thing is for sure, the Portland Trail Blazers will be in the mix somewhere, but they are not playing well right now having dropped three straigt games. Denver remains on the outside looking in, but are well within striking range, and this team has played like a team fighting for their playoff lives, which they are. The Nuggets are surging with five straight wins while the Blazers, since a long winning streak to help clinch a playoff spot, have lost their incentive and their mojo, at 4-6 over their last 10. The Nuggets have played themselves well into the conversation, and I look for another peak effort tonight at home where they have now won six straight while the Portland's road skid has reached four.
