Portland has won three of the last four meetings between these two. The Trail Blazers look to bounce back from a one-point loss to Denver and then losing 131-118 at San Antonio on Sunday when both teams shot the lights out, but the Spurs were better with a blistering .602 field goal percentage. The Mavericks won't come close to that tonight as they are averaging 46.1 percent shooting on the season and the Blazers allow 45.8 percent. Dallas lost to the Lakers on the road before coming home to beat the Clippers 114-110. Harrison Barnes scored 30 points and DeAndre Jordan added 16 points and grabbed 23 rebounds against his former team. Portland has lost five of its last six, but still is just a tiny underdog in this matchup, which is an indication that the Blazers still are considered the stronger team by the oddsmkaers.
