Phoenix at Portland

Phoenix opened the season with the largest opening night losing margin in NBA history to this Portland team at 124-76. It was about as bad a game as a team could play. Phoenix has had trouble with scoring against the better teams, as they scored 130 points vs. the Lakers, and 117 vs. the Kings. But in three games vs. the better defensive teams they have averaged a woeful 87 points per game. That is a long distance from the lofty total posted for this one. The Trailblazers allow 96.8 points per game on the season are certainly an opponent capable of shutting down the Suns' offense. Portland has had issues of their own over their last three games where they have combined to shoot 102-257 which comes in at under 40%. This is a high total that is hard to justify from what we have seen from these teams so far. Play on the UNDER.
