Phoenix at Los Angeles

The Phoenix Suns have become a different team as this offensive machine has seen the light. Suddenly, this team is stepping up on the defensive, and the results have followed. They have won eight of their last nine this year in the playoffs, and a team that allowed 107 or more points 31 times early, saw that number diminish to not more than 107 in any of their last 21 games. They have now proceeded to go 33-11-1 ATS in their last 45 games. The Lakers have been in the playoffs a lot over the years, but are looking at their most difficult foe over the last 20 years. The Lakers have managed an 11-16 record vs. the Suns in five playoffs series, losing four of them. The Lakers have brought the defense as well allowing just 95.6 points per game in the first half of their 10 playoff games, just twice allowing an opponent to reach 50. The Suns are not known for defense and have changed that, allowing only two teams to top the 50-point mark in their 10 playoffs games. The Conference Finals have seen first half UNDERs connect on 63.3% of the games in the last 274. I'll go with Phoenix and the first half UNDER.
