Let's face it. These two teams can score on each other at will. The Suns have no answer for Elton Brand who put up 33 points last game. Phoenix of course can score on anyone. These teams have averaged 224.2 points per game thus far. And, that's without Steven Nash hitting threes. He's 0-13 from beyond the arc in the last four games. That can't last forever and he's due for a breakout performance. Sure, we needed overtime to get the OVER last game but the fact remains that four of the five games have sailed over the total thus far. As with many of the series this year, scoring has increased as the games progress and teams figure each other out. With D'Antoni as coach, the Suns are 30-16 OVER following a game in which 225+ points were scored, 27-14 OVER after scoring 120+ points and 44-25 OVER following a game in which both teams scored 105+ points. The Suns are 19-10 OVER after allowing 110+ points this season. These two teams are 6-2-1 OVER this season in head-to-head matchups. While not known as a high-scoring team, the Clippers have resulted to run-and-gun when they need a win. After their game one loss, they scored 122 points in game two. After losing game three, they came back with 114 points in game four. Even in the Denver series, tehy followed their single loss with a triple-digit performance after scoring an average of 91 ppg in their first three wins. Now they are again off a loss and in need of a win. I like this game to go OVER the total.
