Philadelphia is riding an eight-game win streak after defeating New York 119-112 on Sunday when Joel Embiid had 35 points and James Harden added 29 for the 76ers, who have covered the spread seven of the eight games while averaging 120 points. The past two games have gone OVER by an average of 16.8 points as the Sixers have shot 52.1 percent. Washington is headed for another miserable season having lost 14 of its past 17 games although the Wizards did defeat Sacramento 125-111 on Friday by shooting 55.7 percent. Philadelphia has covered five straight playing with one day of rest and the Wizards are 6-21-2 ATS following a win and they have covered just one of their past seven home contests. Also, on the rare occasions when the Wizards win by double digits, they are 0-3-1 ATS the next game. Six of the past eight meetings have gone OVER, and the OVER is 45-19-1 in Washington's past 65 games against teams with .600 or higher winning percentages. Take the 76ers and the OVER.
