Philadelphia has had a major change in the front office, so the building blocks are in place with the players and coaches knowing they've already bottomed out. They followed that change with their first win, plus lost 108-105 to Denver in a close one. The 76ers also got a boost from point guard Kendall Marshall's return to the lineup the last game. Marshall, who was playing for the first time since an ACL tear last January, started and finished with five points and six assists in 16 minutes. In addition, Philadelphia guard Tony Wroten (knee) is expected to return Sunday. They are a big dog to a Toronto team that embarks on a three-game road trip starting tomorrow, a difficult stretch against the Eastern Conference. Toronto wraps up a six-game homestand after dropping the first two to Denver and Golden State, the former as -10 chalk. They are short on depth with backup center Lucas Nogueira (ankle) questionable, and are 5-3 the last eight games also losing to Phoenix, 107-102, as a favorite. Yes, the situation is favorable for a bad team to pull off another shocker as we saw with Golden State losing to Milwaukee last night. Play Philadelphia on the moneyline.
