Philadelphia has really struggled on the road against the better teams in the NBA. They have squared off with six teams with a winning percentage of .600+, and have been beaten by an average of 18 points per game, with five of the six coming by 15 points or more. They have been 1-5 ATS in this situation, but 9-4 ATS on the road otherwise. San Antonio has done so well at home over the years that they are often asked to beat big spreads against decent teams. This year they once again don't show any value in those types of games, having produced a 5-5-1 ATS record. They do show value against the sub-.500 teams as they are 7-3 ATS, and have won these games by an average of 15.4 ppg, with seven of these games coming in by more than the spread for this one tonight. We don't often find a lot of value in laying large numbers, but the history is clear - there is value in this one.
