Philadelphia at Oklahoma City

The Oklahoma City Thunder are off to a 5-3 start to the season. They have the best duo in the NBA in Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. The pair has combined for 54 points per game, 15 rebounds per game, and 14 assists per game. The problem they have had is on the defensive end where they have allowed opponents to score 107 ppg. The Sixers are once agin out of the gate slow and still looking for their first win of the season, saddled with an 0-8 record to start the season. That may not have a very good ring to it if you want to back the Sixers here, but teams that are 0-8 or worse to start the season are actually a very solid investment when on the road as a +5.5 or more dog, at 17-12 ATS. Oklahoma City has played no defense all season, and with a winless team in the house, I hardly think they will be very motivated to do so tonight. The Sixers also apply to another strong contrary angle, based on their poor start which is 161-106 ATS. Take the generous points on Philadelphia.
