Philadelphia at New Orleans

New Orleans has another new coach in Willie Green after the Stan Van Gundy experiment was a flop and Green is expected to improve the Pelicans defensively as he did with the Phoenix Suns, who made it to the Finals last season. Zion Williamson (foot) will also be a project for Green, who eventually wants to get Williamson more involved on the defensive end. A major addition is Jonas Valanciunas, who comes over from Memphis after averaging 17.1 points and 12.5 rebounds. Philadelphia still is dealing with the Ben Simmons problem and it doesn't appear to be settled soon. Joel Embiid averaged 28.5 points and Andre Drummond was added to help out at center. The 76ers were a huge disappointment in the playoffs and it might take time to get things straightened out this season. New Orleans is 4-0-1 ATS the last five meetings. Play the Pelicans.
