Philadelphia at Indiana

The Indiana Pacers had the best overall record in the NBA Eastern Conference last season, but came up well short of their goal to win it all. They will start this season with a different look as Lance Stephenson has moved on and Paul George starts the season on the injury list. There is still plenty of talent to keep this team more than competitive, and they get to open at home vs. Philadelphia who has a long way to go to become competitive. Philadelphia drafted Joel Embid, but he won't help them this season, as he sits out with a foot injury. Last year's top pick Nerlen Noels will be on the court, but he may take some time after missing all of last season himself. Overall a bad 76ers team looks bad again, at least to open the season, so play on Indiana.
