The Boston Celtics trailed for most of their game vs. Philadelphia in the series opener. They surged late and held on for the 1 point win. Despite these teams abysmal effort from beyond the arc, where they combined to shoot just 7-32 or well under 25%, the game was a lot more uptempo. The score, despite poor shooting on both sides, eclipsed the total very easily. I look for more of the same here tonight as these teams combined for 164 total shots which is not conducive to a game to be played in the low 170s. The Sixers are now 14-5 to the OVER as a road dog of 4.5 or less in their last 19, as well as 8-2 to the OVER on the road vs. a winning team in their last ten. Boston is 10-4-1 to the OVER in their last 15 vs. a team with a losing road record. Philadelphia is a number eight seed for a reason and they had their best chance in game one of winning on the road. They are 2-12 straight up in their last 14 on the road vs. a winning team and, for the most part, they are here because of Chicago injuries and a soft early schedule. Play on Boston on the moneyline and the OVER.
