Carmelo is expected back here, but how strong will he be? His first attempt at a return in Denver last week didn't work out too well. And, Tyson Chandler is still out. This team is spiraling right now having lost four of five and 10 of their last 17. Yet they are laying double digits? It's too much. Chandler has abused the Magic in recent games so his absence looms large, especially given that backup big man Kurt Thomas won't be available here either. Head coach Mike Woodson basically admitted that this team needs both of their superstars saying, "We just gotta get 'Melo and Tyson back in gear and get them going again." Yes, the Magic have major issues, but I think they can keep this one in single digits given that New York has averaged just 83.4 points per game over their last five (while giving up 98). Orlando's defense is poor, but New York does not play up to expectations against such teams. This season, the Knicks are just 6-14 ATS vs. teams that allow 99+ per game. Dating back to last season, Orlando is 26-15 ATS following a double-digit loss. Take the Magic.
