Orlando at Detroit

It appears that neither of these teams are ready to challenge for a playoff spot this season. The Magic are 4-7 while Detroit comes in at 3-7, and I think a win is up for grabs here in this one. Since their opening night loss to New Orleans by 17, the Magic have been competitive in every game with their biggest loss coming by just eight points, and they have shown some elevated play with a 4-3 mark in their last seven games. Detroit has lost four of their last five games, with the only win needing overtime vs. a depleted Oklahoma City team. Neither team is ready to contend, but it sure looks like the Magic is showing a lot more progress and upside to this point of the season and are playing better. Make the play on Orlando on the moneyline.
