The Chicago Bulls fell behind early last night in Brooklyn, but slowly chipped away and came away with a 2-point win. They spent a lot of energy in that game, and now have to travel home on no rest vs. an Orlando team that isn't going to garner their full attention. While the win column has not been a busy place for the Magic, they are taking advantage of a couple of things. Their opponents aren't putting forth a full effort, and they have not packed it in by still playing hard. They own a winning ATS record over their last 16, and have taken three of their last four. The Magic are a surprising 49-23-2 ATS in their last 74 when following a 10+ point loss, while the Bulls home woes continue where they are 12-25 ATS in their last 37. Play on Orlando. There is nothing magical about the Orlando offense which has failed to top 90 in 27 games this season, and Chicago tends to play well on that end, setting up an ugly game here. The Bulls extended minutes calls for a low-scoring game here as they are 13-5 to the UNDER when following a game where their starters combined for 160+ minutes last time out. Take the UNDER. The last three seasons the Magic are 63-40 UNDER when playing against defenses like Chicago's that don't pressure the ball (teams averaging under 15 turnovers per game). Since last season, Chicago is 13-3 UNDER vs. terrible teams (those at .250 or worse). Dating back to the 2010 season, the Bulls are 22-7 UNDER vs. teams that are outscored on average by 6+ points per game. Finally, in all home games with Thibodeau at the helm, Chicago is 74-49 UNDER. Ply Orlando and take the UNDER.
