The Oklahoma City Thunder became the 19th straight victim of the San Antonio Spurs as they allowed 38 points in the fourth quarter to lose by three. Overall, it was a huge effort on their part. They stayed in the game the entire way, despite their two stars shooting a combined 15-40 with just two of seven from deep. They played aggressive defense and forced San Antonio into 12 first half turnovers. However, when it got to the fourth quarter, the Thunder let up and opened the door for another San Antonio win. Oklahoma City did a great job defensively for three quarters, blocking nine shots and generating 11 steals. Again, when the fourth quarter came they registered zero steals and zero blocks, while the offense went over nine minutes with just one made field goal. Credit San Antonio for some of that, but not all. I look for Oklahoma City to finish the job tonight. They certainly proved they can defend and play with the Spurs. Tonight they will show that the lesson has been learned. The Thunder has always come up big after a loss at 55-28-1 ATS in their last 84 and have tightened up the "D" after allowing 110+ to play 7-3-1 to the UNDER in their next game. The Spurs last eight after posting 100+ have seen none of them top the total and all of their last six Conference Finals games have stayed UNDER the total. Play on Oklahoma City and the UNDER.
