The Memphis Grizzlies barely made the playoffs as the No. 8 seed in the West. They are without arguably their best player in Rudy Gay, but they convincingly took down the No. 1 seeded San Antonio Spurs in the first round, and hold a 2-1 lead over Oklahoma City. How are they doing it? The Grizz are getting five more shots per game than the Thunder, five more turnovers, five more free throws, and 5 more rebounds in their last four meetings. Clearly they have outplayed them across the board. What else is happening is Oklahoma City's big offense is not translating into the playoffs as they are shooting 42.8% through eight games, but at the same time holding opponents to 42.9%. The bottom line here is that Memphis has proven the better team. Oklahoma City isn't getting easy looks, but is defending at a higher level out of necessity. They also folded in game three with a big lead, and that doesn't bode well for them here against a Memphis team glistening with confidence. I like Memphis and the UNDER in this one.
