Yesterday we saw three teams facing elimination that were down 3-0 in their series, and only Boston survived. Tonight Houston is in the same desperate spot, down 3-0 to Oklahoma City. Oklahoma City played with tremendous resolve without their fallen star, and built a 26-point lead. But, they may have started coasting too early, as they let Houston back in the game. I think they will learn a lesson from that and put Houston away for good, get the sweep, and enjoy time to rest and heal bumps and bruises. Despite the loss of Westbrook, the Thunder are not short on offensive options. Reggie Jackson had 14 points in 25 minutes in what was his first career start, and Derek Fisher contributed 9 points, spelling jackson, so the 23 points gave them what they lost from Westbrook, and Durant did the rest. The Thunder's win and cover has them now at 8-0 ATS in their last eight road games vs. a team with a winning home record. They are also now 19-6 ATS in their next game after allowing 100+, while Houston drops to 0-6 ATS after scoring 100+ in their last game. The sweep is on, so take Oklahoma City.
