This will be conceived as a throwaway game for most bettors, as the 6-16 Oklahoma Thunder go to Detroit to take on the 4-18 Pistons. The Thunder have a bigger chore as a key player, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, has been ruled out with a concussion. Detroit has lost eight straight games but has been playing above the line in those losses at 5-3 ATS. They certainly are aware that this may be their best chance to notch a must-needed win, and I would expect them to play accordingly, especially at home. The Thunder are a mess, short-handed, and have also lost eight straight, the last one by a ridiculous 73 points. This already looks like a team that may have quit. Make the play on Detroit.
