The Dallas Mavericks’ quick dispatch of the 2010 Champion Lakers got them a much needed break as they watched the Oklahoma City Thunder get extended to seven games by the upstart Memphis Grizzlies. The question of rest is one thing, but eight days of rest with a team carrying the mojo to a 13-0-1 ATS mark in their last 14 may be another. Not much of a sample size, but eight days rest has produced a 1-2 ATS mark in the next game, with a pair of straight-up losses. This has historically not been a good spot for the home favorite of more than 5 in game one of round three, as they are just 2-9 ATS since '03. It is a great spot for the Thunder who has risen to the occasion of a dog of +5-10.5 to go 20-6 ATS in their last 26. The Mavs’ offense may take some time to get back to "game" conditions, and overall off a 10+ point win they are 8-3 to the UNDER. They have also played five straight to the UNDER as a playoffs favorite of -5-10.5. Oklahoma City follows suit with a 7-3 UNDER mark after producing a double-digit win. Play Oklahoma City and the UNDER in this one.
