New York at Washington

The New York Knicks, at 10-15 on the season, certainly have under-achieved their lofty expectations. They are now without their top two players in Stoudemire and Anthony. We often see teams step up when key players go down and that was certainly the case vs. Utah, where they went out and beat the Jazz by 11. Washington is just not the type of team to be in the role of a favorite at 5-20 on the season. This is a team that, since the beginning of last season, is 4-23 after a win, so to be posted as a favorite here is simply over-estimating the Knicks injuries. The Knicks, which is no secret, have long played their best when least expected at 27-11-1 ATS in their last 39 as a road dog. Play on New York in this one.
