New York brought back coach Jeff Hornacek, even though they didn't play much defense last season at #23 in points allowed. The Knicks have a pair of young offensive talents in Tim Hardaway Jr. and Kristaps Porzingis, but nothing on the defensive end. The Knicks want to build around youth and they have eight players on the roster 25-years-old or younger in Porzingis, 19-year-old rookie Frank Ntilikina, 23-year-old Willy Hernangomez and the 25-year-old Hardaway Jr. New York is 7-1-1 OVER the total playing on three or more days rest and faces an attacking Oklahoma City offense behind Russell Westbrook that was #11 in points scored. They get even better with Paul George and Carmelo Anthony on board, so look for a game with far more offense than defense. Play the OVER the total.
