The Miami Heat made a big turn around last year and made the playoffs, but will be shorthanded for their opener vs the Knicks as Jamaal Migliore is suspended until November 1st, Chris Quinn is also doubtful, and the status of Michael Beasley is questionable as he is nursing a thumb injury and may miss or at least be less than 100% if he does sees action. The Knicks start healthy and have made progress under Mike D'Antoni running his offense, a style not very well suited for the Heat. The Heat dropped last year's opener to the Knicks in a game that featured 235 points scored. The Knicks score 100 points with high frequency and that has been a marker of disaster for the Heat as last year they were just 12-20 when they allowed 100 points or more. The Knicks ability to score has made them a solid investment as they turned in a 20-5 ATS mark as a dog of 5-10.5 and were 14-3 ATS on the road in the same range. Knicks are a live dog here and I'll back them in this one.
