It figured to take a handful of games for the Heat to mesh their trio of stars into identifiable roles. What has emerged is a defensive prowess as they have all committed on the defensive end of the court, snuffing out offenses for the last 15 games. The Heat has not allowed a single team to top the 98-point mark in their last 15, including 83 to Phoenix and 84 to Golden State. The Knicks can play some offense, but the Heat showed they defend even better, holding the Knicks to 91 at the Garden, winning by 17. That was to a hot Knicks team that had won eight of nine. The Knicks simply don't play defense, and that will certainly leave a lot of space for LeBron and company to extend this one well into double-digits again. Miami gets the call.
