New York will try to slow down the Lakers, who have won seven in a row, but the Knicks actually are a half-game better in the standings and they have won 13 of 18 themselves, 14 of 18 outright on the road. The Knicks have covered seven of 10 road games against Los Angeles, which has had a favorable schedule during its streak with the last five being at home. The Lakers always seem to have injury issues and LeBron James (foot) and Luka Doncic (knee) are listed as day-to-day. Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura also are questionable. This is a revenge situation for New York which lost the only meeting this season on Feb. 1. New York expects to have Karl-Anthony Towns back after he missed Tuesday's loss to Golden State for personal reasons. Take the Knicks.
