No playoffs for either of these teams, so what is there to play for? Well, these teams knew early in the season that the playoffs weren't in the picture, so not a whole lot has changed. I believe that New York, however, has a bit more to look forward to. While the Clippers have resigned themselves to basement-dwelling year in and year out, the Knicks still have plans for bigger things. They will be going after some big name free agents in the offseason and they have some hope in David Lee who has posted career-highs in points (20.3) and rebounds (11.9). I believe they will be a bit more motivated here than the Clippers who have dropped 14 of 16 games and four in a row. New York has the better offense and I think that makes the difference here.
