New York at Charlotte

The Charlotte Bobcats found it exceedingly difficult to find the win column a year ago, but a hot 5-1 stretch provided hope that this team was turning the corner. The problem is that bad teams have good stretches. Unfortunately, one of those stretches occurred early for Charlotte. They are improved, but are still a very poor NBA team. Outside the 5-1 stretch they are 2-8 and have proceeded to lose four straight games. This is a different Knicks team from the past editions that seemed to lose plenty vs. bad teams. This year they have lost just four times, but all to winning teams. This year they are 6-0 vs. .500 or less teams, and have covered five of them. The Bobcats are just 16-34-1 ATS in their last 51, and don't present a threat here. Play on New York.
