New York at Brooklyn

The Brooklyn Nets were supposed to challenge the Miami Heat all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals, as they bolstered their roster. It took time for the team chemistry to come around, but the Nets have played at a much higher level down the stretch, especially at home. The Nets have been unstoppable at home down the stretch vs. all teams, as they are 14-1 in their last 15 at home. The numbers get even scarier when you consider the fact that they have not lost at home since December 5th of last year, which was game #19 to a team that did not make the playoffs. The Nets have been digging in on the defensive end down the stretch with six of their last eight playing UNDER the total. Like the Nets, the Knicks were supposed to contend this season, coming off a strong season a year ago, but they never got it going. No they've got nothing left to play for, and Carmelo Anthony is listed as doubtful, so I don't see an effort put forth here. The Knicks are reliant on Anthony for offense, and without his presence on the court I look for NY to struggle on that end of the court tonight. The Nets are now 20-6 ATS on a day of rest, and the UNDER has prevailed in four of the last five meetings. The Nets are too strong at home, so play Brooklyn straight-up, and take the UNDER.
