New York at Atlanta

The Atlanta Hawks keep getting better and better and have built off of last year's playoff appearance to open the season at 13-5, and are a sterling 8-1 at home thus far on the season. That makes this one look like a walk in the park vs. a Knicks team devoid of stars and struggling to a 4-15 mark and just 2-7 on the road. That’s how it looks and that is why the real story hides behind the obvious. The Knicks’ futility often finds them getting a bundle of points, and frequently they get way too many as is the case here. It is true that the Knicks don't win many games, but they are in almost all of them. The Knicks are 27-12-1 ATS in their last 40 as a road dog, and are now 12-1 ATS when getting double-digits. Add in their perfect 4-0 ATS mark in their last four trips to Atlanta, and you have solid value on the Knicks here -  my play in this one.
