These teams have both played through some tough injuries this season, and have both put together similar records. The Wizards right now are not playing good basketball at all. Despite a favorable scheduling situation in their last five games, where they have been posted as a favorite in all of them, they have lost three of the five, failing to cover any of them. The Pelicans have remained pretty much the .500 team they are, but have gotten the money in three of their last four, and are presently playing over the line. The Pelicans have been shooting the ball extremely well, connecting on 46% or better in 10 straight games, including 50% or better in half of them. The better upside is on the Pelicans, so play on New Orleans.
