The New Orleans Pelicans were a playoffs-caliber team with Chris Paul on the roster, but since his departure they are no longer capable of playing at that level. Despite that fact, it doesn't mean they are not getting better, as the Pelicans have been 9-6 over their last 15 games and are 6-2 straight-up against the last eight teams they have faced with a losing record. Utah got off to a horrid 1-14 start, and never recovered. They played a bit better for awhile, but have thrown in the towel as they are a 1-point win in their last 12 games away from being 0-12, and they are just 2-17 in their last 19 games overall. While New Orleans is handling the weaker teams in the league, the Jazz aren't handling anyone right now. Take New Orleans.
