New Orleans at Portland

Portland took a hard fall their last time on the floor where they put forth little effort on the defensive end, and allowed the T-Wolves to hit them for 120 points. You can be sure that they will come out with a much more concerted effort on the defensive end tonight. The Pelicans have been subject to offensive droughts this season, having gone through an eight-game stretch of scoring less than 100 in seven of them, and have now gone for less than the century mark in five of their last seven, including their last three. Portland is off a defensive debacle, and it will make it hard for them to find their way offensively tonight, as the Pelicans are now own a 15-7 mark to the UNDER in their last 22 vs. a team over .600. The extra defensive effort by the Blazers here will make this one fall short. Play on the UNDER.
