“Linsanity,” is the talk of the Big Apple and all over the NBA right now, as Jeremy Lin has taken the Knicks to seven straight wins. The hype has blown this line out of proportion. What gets lost in the shuffle is the fact that the Knicks are just a .500 team despite the seven straight wins, and three of the last four wins have come by 7, 2, and 3 points. The Hornets were expected to struggle to score and run the offense without Chris Paul, and at 6-23 they certainly have. They were getting blown out almost every night, but this team has improved to win two straight for the first time since opening the season 2-0. They have also been a lot more competitive, losing just one of their last six by 10 points or more. Too many points here, so back New Orleans.
