The Timberwolves appear to be a hot team right now, but are they? They opened 4-24 to a difficult schedule, but have now gone 9-4. A close examination of eight of those wins show they were against teams with a combined record of just 109-229 or a .322 winning percentage. That rates lower than even the T-Wolves .325 mark on the season. The last win was against a slumping Phoenix team that is 1-8-1 ATS in their last 10. The T-Wolves are 0-12 SU against teams with a winning record prior to the Phoenix win. The Hornets have now won three in a row and their last seven road games were against powerful teams - all above .500. Their last seven against teams with a losing record on the road has resulted in a three-point loss and six wins by 10 points per game on average. I'll grab the Hornets here on the moneyline.
